Ahmedabad Ahmedabad is the sixth largest city of India and the commercial hub of the state of Gujarat. Although it is not very well known as a 'tourist' place, it is certainly worth a visit. Actually, the fact that there are fewer tourists, will often get you a nicer welcome here.

Ahmedabad is by and large a hot place. so it is advisable to visit this place during Mid-June, when you will be able to enjoy various Monsoon specialties of the city like Boiled or Roasted Corn Dishes or some special local dishes like Khichu during this season.
